A post not so long ago
Months back, when I was trying to organize my (work) life, I wrote this and even made a separate page for this. Since then, things have changed for the better, I suppose. Some of these still stand, some have been fulfilled, and some could be improved. So for the sake of reminding myself (and maybe to encourage others) I posted this as a regular blog post.
In an aim to keep my resolutions (and yes, though it’s now New Year’s Eve), I decided to write these down. I think the list will continue to grow, but some relatively easy notes should materialize the soonest possible.
1. Think positive.
It’s not just about Manny Pacquiao’s (or was that Robin Padilla’s?) latest commercial hehe
This is definitely easier said than done.
2. Read more books.
I have a hundred books waiting to be explored! I hope to get my hands on classic, even post-modern reads SOON.

at fullybooked, serendra lusting for expensive books haha
3. Save money.
Again, easier said than done. I PROMISE TO SAVE MORE.
I have to stop lessen my shopping. teehee.
4. Give up my mood swings.
This is very vague and that’s precisely why I should give this up. This is really hard but I’ve acknowledged it actually does me no good.
5. Be happier at work.
Yes, I’ve lit the torch, so to speak, after bagging the dream job.
But I think I have yet to see what’s left to see. The world is such a big playground I would love to explore.
6. Enjoy a new hobby.
Sure, I tried photography (again) but the impatient artist in me gets in the way. I wish to gain patience soon. If not, I’d enroll in a dance or violin class.
7. Get ready for that big day.

No need to explain.
8. Forgive myself.
Sure, we can never undo things–the most important thing is we learned. And I’ve learned it’s okay to regret.
9. Be more thankful.
I need not see other people’s miseries to make me feel blessed. I am blessed this way, and I have got to embrace what my angels gave me.
10. Enjoy life!
I don’t know how to describe this so let me use this quote I read somewhere: “If you want to be happy, be.”
