Horoscope for today, haha! :)

Sure, a lot of people in my network already deleted their Friendster accounts for various reasons. Some of them found it ‘baduy’ already, with the invasion of these teeners who speak in text lingo (oh yes, those “aq poh”, “qt aq” which ah, I definitely would not want to elaborate).

But I retained mine (two accounts in fact) because most of my Friendster friends have yet to discover Facebook (hehe, my FB account is dominated by media friends; and I definitely DO NOT add people I don’t know). Hmm it also helps that Friendster testimonials are too precious to be deleted.

And well, this may be weird but I keep my Friendster account for its wonderful horoscopes! Yes, I happen to check my horoscope every day, usually even after the day has passed me by. Amazingly, the prediction actually took place. Just like this one:

If you shoo them away like you’d swat at a fly, they’ll just keep coming back to drive you crazy. What you need is a thorough solution to any problem that pops up. Do not do anything halfway, or else it will only come back to bite you. Putting bandages on something that requires open-heart surgery won’t save you any time.

Since I’ve also been recently assigned to entertainment and lifestyle apart from the General Assignments beat,  I had the chance to personally ask David Archuleta and David Cook (i like the former better) about well, what they think about the Philippines and if they have tasted any Filipino dish

This is the closest I could get to the Davids Too bad their promoters did not allow photo ops

365 Days to Change

With only less than a year before the elections, advocacy groups are on full throttle to help the voting public make informed choices. How timely–we ALL badly badly need that.

Sure, I now have presidential bets but I’m not sure if any of them are actually that worthy. Reporting about all these controversies had me a bit jaded and I have yet to see positive news out of this politicos.

Last Monday, I had the privilege to cover Artists Revolution. Makes me proud to be pinoy!

There should be more people like them–using arts in sending their message across

The past few days, Nixlove and I have been talking about THE big day but I won’t be divulging details yet. Definitely not yet. For one, we have an idea on what month (do we?) and what year but we have yet to decide on the exact day..and we want to make everything formal and prepared for. Maybe it’ll be in full swing once we directly tell our parents–after all, it’s all been bits of this and bits of that for now. They’ve been joking about it too, and it’s really *kilig*

Last week I went to the Glorietta bridal fair, an accidental window shopping for wedding suppliers I was supposed to cover something in Makati  but my footsteps led me to the fair It was surreal! It wasn’t my first to a bridal fair though. Nixlove and I once dropped by the wedding library at Megamall

I like it that Nixlove’s also excited about some wedding details. I had no idea guys would also be THAT interested but come to think of it, grooms are also inlove! Well at least in my case I’m sure of that
