Meet beetlecar :)

I think it is proper to introduce my favorite car in the world, Nixlove’s first car: a vintage, red Volkswagen beetle. I love it NOT JUST because it is Nixlove’s car. I think that like its owner, Beetlecar is simple, low-maintenance, smart, practical, lovable, and cute. hehe

We had a lot of funny anecdotes with and about Beetlecar ( a cute name, indeed ), including our unplanned trip to Alabang Town Center which led us to our baby bear, Padingtun

Beetlecar practically witnessed our early days. Back when I was still a college student in UPLB, we’d go to IRRI to eat lunch courtesy of beetlecar; drove a bit around the peaceful town of Los Banos and ’round the Humanities building and the Cooperative inside the campus for my driving lessons while Padingtun, the cute baby bear, sat like a good boy at the back. Nixlove would sometimes take me home or fetch me early in the morning with Beetlecar–or even to my annoyance (rarely though), I would actually wake up competing with Beetlecar for Nixlove’s attention!

We’ve also gone to several VW festivals where Beetlecar mingled with Karman Gias, Kombis and Golfs and more vw Beetles in different colors!

I wish Beetlecar would last until Nixlove and I are old enough to be called vintage. Equally, I wish to grow old with Nixlove, the only driver I would forever be in-love with.
